making both lifebars and chars look un pixelated

im not sure if this was disclosed already or not but there are some lifebars where it needs to be on a high-def setting i.e. 4 but im wondering if the setting for 2 which applies to most chars to make them look un-pixelated applies to the lifebars as well.....there are only a few lifebars ive come across where that didn apply.....


essentially im askin if the two can coexist and still look good ona mugen or does it have to be one way or the other (thanx for the assistance whomeva answers)
