Humans - technologically superior to the rest, but they are physically weaker then any other race. Humans can adapt quickly to their surroundings
Dragoons - A noble and formerly powerful race, they fight on the battle field with bladed weapons. They are the descendents of Dragons and have taken on a humanoid appearence. They fight with bladed weapons and with extreme honor.
Wolfen - A product of Petra's early years. These humanoids are a cross breed between wolves and humans. They generally have wolf ears and a few have tails. Wolfen excell at hand to hand combat.
Vagrants/Homunculus - These beings are created by powerful magic. Although they appear human, Vagrants are far stronger and faster then humans could ever dream of being. Vagrants serve their masters at all costs.
Demons - Monstrous creatures that had once been sealed away in their own dimension, Petra Inc. opened gates to their world and they overran Petra quickly.
Souless - Once living beings that have had their souls devoured by Enigma. They are like zombies without Enigma's guidance and constantly try to regain a soul by taking another creatures.

Arens - A people that have red eyes, dark skin, and white hair. Are most noted for their speed, and are often great assassins.

Current Status:
In a nut shell, 2 wars have raped the landscape and left the humans, wolfen and dragoons at the bottom of the food chain while the Demons and Enigma's army remain in control.
The Demonic Wars and Android Wars have reshaped the world's landscape and the destinies of its people. Many humans have retreated to space while the rest remain on the surface darting from ruined town to ruined town. The dragoons have regrouped in their last city of Adrieal, the capital. It is doubtful that their defenses would last against an attack by Enigma, but Daridus keeps a watchful eye on Adrieal, and will protect it with the Covenant's army if needed. The wolfen find themselves facing extinction as their population dips below 100 with their numbers decreasing at a more rapid rate as a rogue demonic tribe hunts them down for food.

Factions/Armies:
United Dragoonic Forces - The final standing army for the dragoons. They defend the town of Adrieal from any threats. The few remaining "Knights" lead the army bravely
Enigma's Might - An army comprised mostly of Souless, and lead by Velcan, they are based on the wester continent.
Demonic Covenant - The Covenant is a corrupt group of Demonic Warlords lead by King Daridus. The Warlords would quickly betray Daridus if Enigma were to ally with them.
Human Survival Project - After the fall of Petra, humanity found itself facing possible extinction. To survive, they created "Second Earth," a large space station in the sky. Their ground base is located in "Old Petra," the remains of the first Petra City.
Raven's Nest (AC rocks XD) - A mercenary group made up of demons, humans, dragoons and an android, they will work for any faction and are always looking for new members.

Daridus - Demon king and leader of the Demonic Covenant, he is honorable, wise and strong. He has the "Fallen Three," an elite group of Vagrants under his command. To cross him would end in death for most.
Enigma - Self proclaimed Vagrant king, Enigma is the 2nd Vagrant ever created and was deemed a failure by Daridus and tossed into a volcano. Enigma survived and has gone through the milleniums building his power. Enigma is a deceitful and powerful creature that should not be trusted.
Petra CEO - This man has been driven to the brink of insanity and resided on the top floor of Petra Towers in "Old Petra."

Places:
Necro's Isle (1) - A wasteland and home of the Demonic Covenant
Petra Ruins (2) - Remains of Petra City, very few "living" creatures call this place home
"Old" Petra (3) - Remains of the Petra City that was ravaged by the Demonic War. It is occupied by the Human Survival Project and is heavily defended. Non-humans rarely gain access into the city.
Bastile's Cathedral (4) - A ruined Cathedral on a large flooding island. A set of stairs leads into a slowly flooding labyrinth.
Adrieal (5) - The last dragoonic city still occupied by dragoons
Adrat (6) - Petra's now frozen and abandoned mining facility
